SwitchBot Blind Tilt
SwitchBot Blind Tilt is a retrofit motor for compatible wand-operated horizontal Venetian blinds. It rotates the tilt wand to change the angle of the slats. It does not lift the blind, pull a cord or drive a roller shade. Start with a photograph of the headrail and wand to assess the fit.
Adjust light without replacing the blind
Schedule the slat angle around morning light or evening privacy, or change it through the app nearby. The light-sensing arrangement can support automatic adjustment after setup. Calibrate the open and closed positions to the actual blind so movement remains within the mechanism’s usable range.
Check the wand and charging position
The wand must rotate smoothly and the headrail must offer appropriate mounting space. Follow the connector and installation guide for the wand size and shape. The rechargeable battery uses USB-C power; solar charging depends on panel placement and available sunlight. Confirm the supplied panel and mounting pieces with the quotation.
Choose the right hub for connected control
Nearby Bluetooth control and remote internet operation have different requirements. A compatible SwitchBot hub is needed for supported remote and voice functions. Matter integration requires a compatible Matter-enabled hub, firmware and destination platform; the blind motor is not a standalone Matter or Thread device. Test automations after calibration and retain access for maintenance.
