The Retrofit Relay is a compact wireless module that installs behind any standard wall switch — turning it into a smart switch without replacing the faceplate or rewiring. Once installed, it responds to schedules, voice commands, automation rules, and manual operation simultaneously.
With direct load switching up to 4A, it handles most residential lighting and small appliance loads with ease. For loads between 4A and 10A, it pairs with an external relay or SSR to safely manage higher-draw equipment. Communication runs over Zigbee 3.0 with mesh networking, meaning each relay extends the range of your smart home network.
Integrates natively with Home Assistant and supports Matter and Apple HomeKit through a compatible hub. Works alongside other Smartify devices — touch panels, sensors, dimmers — as part of a unified automation system. Ideal for retrofit installations where replacing existing switches is not practical or desirable.
