Yale Linus L2 Lite

A compact upgrade for an existing compatible cylinder. Linus L2 Lite sits on the inside of the door and brings digital guest keys and automatic unlocking to an entrance that already has suitable mechanical hardware. The KeySense button provides an immediate physical control from inside, useful when leaving without reaching for a phone.

Everyday access

Supported access methods: Yale Home app; optional Yale Smart Keypad 2 for PIN and fingerprint. Choose the methods that fit the people using this doorway, then demonstrate them during installation. Digital credentials are most useful when residents understand both everyday operation and the backup procedure for their particular lock.

Compatibility and installation

Remote Yale Home control requires the separately sold Yale ConnectX Wi-Fi Bridge. Matter-over-Thread use needs a compatible Matter controller and Thread border router. PIN and fingerprint access require a separate compatible keypad. The Lite reports lock status only; timed locking does not establish whether the door is closed.

Set up for the household

Set up the owner account and any required accessories during commissioning, then test the intended local and remote functions separately. Give each regular user an appropriate credential and review access when household arrangements change.

Will it fit my existing door?

A model name and door thickness are not enough to confirm fit. The installer also needs to check the mounting template, available clearances, strike position and the condition of the door and frame. Complete that assessment before modifying the door.
