Give each household member a comfortable way to enter. ByYou Mortise offers fingerprint, code, card and app access in a full mortise assembly. Built-in Bluetooth supports nearby Yale Home use, and the published capacity of up to 100 users per credential type provides room for separate household credentials. Its slim exterior body can be evaluated alongside the door finish and interior hardware.

Digital credentials are most useful when residents understand both everyday operation and the backup procedure for their particular lock.

Compatibility and installation

Remote Yale Home functions require a separately sold Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge. This is the mortise version of ByYou; assess door preparation independently of the ByYou V Pro. Confirm the exact finish and included accessories before quotation.

For a replacement project, send photographs of both door faces, the door edge and the frame. Include the thickness, current lock model and the access methods your household wants. These details help distinguish a suitable replacement from a door that needs preparation work.

Set up for the household

Set up the owner account and any required accessories during commissioning, then test the intended local and remote functions separately. Give each regular user an appropriate credential and review access when household arrangements change.

Will it fit my existing door?

A model name and door thickness are not enough to confirm fit. The installer also needs to check the mounting template, available clearances, strike position and the condition of the door and frame. Complete that assessment before modifying the door.

What should be confirmed before ordering?

Confirm the exact Indian-market model, finish, package contents and installation scope. Any required connectivity hardware or optional accessories should be identified in the quotation. Share your preferred access methods so the supplied configuration can be checked against them.
