Wozart Zigbee LED Driver WLD01

Adjust a compatible downlight’s brightness and white tone to suit the room. The Wozart WLD01 combines an LED driver with Zigbee control for tunable-white downlights, making it a lighting component to specify alongside the fixture rather than a universal replacement for every LED driver.

Tunable white rather than RGB colour

The manufacturer specifies a 2200–6500 K white-temperature range. With an appropriate luminaire, you can choose a warmer setting for relaxed evening use or a cooler white for a work area. The connected LEDs determine the practical colour-temperature range: a fixed-colour or single-channel lamp cannot acquire tunable-white capability simply by changing its driver. WLD01 is not listed as an RGB controller.

Match the driver to the light

Wozart lists CCT-tunable downlights up to 60 W for this driver. The mains input is 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, and the housing measures 162 × 44 × 30 mm. Wattage alone is insufficient to confirm an LED-driver replacement. The installer must match output voltage/current, channel arrangement, connectors and the luminaire’s thermal conditions to the supplied driver label and wiring information.

Zigbee installation and grouping

The driver needs a compatible Zigbee control arrangement to participate in app commands, groups and automation scenes. Check the intended coordinator or hub and which brightness/colour-temperature functions it exposes. Support described elsewhere on Wozart’s lighting page for the Wi-Fi LED Orchestrator must not be transferred to WLD01: the two products have different connectivity and electrical roles. In particular, the Orchestrator’s 12–36 V DC specification is not the mains-input rating of this driver.

Planning a ceiling installation

Allow room for the enclosure, connections and heat dissipation in an accessible location close to the fixture. Keep mains and LED-side wiring arranged according to the actual driver instructions. For several downlights, specify the number and rating of each fixture before choosing the driver count; the published 60 W ceiling does not establish that arbitrary lights can be connected in parallel. Scenes and schedules are configured through the chosen compatible control system.
