Wozart Universal IR
Keep the familiar AC or television and bring its infrared remote functions into your home routines. Wozart Universal IR sends supported remote commands from the app, allowing changes such as AC temperature, TV volume or channel selection without replacing the appliance.
One controller, several remotes
The device supports up to five compatible IR appliances. That capacity is useful for an entertainment area with an AC, television and set-top box, but every appliance must be within the emitter’s line of sight. A controller in one room should not be expected to reach appliances behind a wall or inside a closed cabinet. Wozart recommends a separate controller for each AC installation.
App and voice integrations
The manufacturer lists Apple HomeKit, Google Home and Amazon Alexa. There is an important Apple Home limitation: one AC can be exposed per Universal IR device, while the Wozart app can control the supported AC units configured on it. The functions available depend on the appliance’s supported remote commands and the selected ecosystem.
Local use and internet access
The controller joins your home Wi-Fi and sends infrared commands to the appliances. Wozart says local control through its own app can continue without internet while the Wi-Fi router stays powered. Voice commands require an active internet connection; control from outside the home also needs an online route through the relevant service. Switching off the router removes that local network path.
Placement and room routines
Place the unit on a flat surface or mount it on a wall with a clear path to the appliance’s IR receiver. Before final placement, test the specific AC or TV functions that matter to you. A configured scene could combine a supported AC command with connected lights or curtains, but those other devices and their integrations are separate. This product does not replace RF-only or Bluetooth remotes, and sending an IR command alone does not prove the appliance received it.
