Wozart Sense Pro

Wozart Sense Pro combines TrueOccupancy presence sensing and a universal infrared remote in one device. Its mmWave radar is designed to detect stationary occupants as well as movement, addressing the familiar problem of motion-triggered lights switching off while someone is sitting quietly. It is the presence-sensing Pro model, distinct from the original Wozart Sense.

What it does

• TrueOccupancy uses mmWave radar to recognise that a person remains in the monitored room, rather than relying only on movement events.
• Presence and absence can be used in configured home routines, such as keeping connected lighting on while a room is occupied.
• The infrared remote function can control supported televisions, set-top boxes, air conditioners and media players. This is appliance-command control, separate from the occupancy sensor.

Where it fits

A study or lounge is a useful application: presence can keep a configured lighting scene active while a person reads or watches television. An absence routine can then switch off selected equipment after a suitable delay. Plan each action deliberately—turning off an AC, television or fan should suit the way the room is used, rather than treating every absence event as an immediate shutdown command.

Setup and compatibility

Lighting and non-IR loads still need compatible connected switches or controllers. For infrared appliances, check the actual remote-control codes and choose a location with an effective IR path to the receiving appliance. Test stationary occupancy at the seating and working positions that matter, then tune the automation’s vacancy delay within the selected control platform.

Important details

Wozart’s current product page does not publish a numerical detection range, electrical supply, dimensions or a model-specific ecosystem compatibility matrix. Those items must be confirmed before installation. Do not transfer the original Sense’s temperature, humidity or light-sensor specifications to Sense Pro, and do not assume RF or Bluetooth-only remotes are supported.
