WiiM Amp Pro is a stereo streaming amplifier for passive speakers. The manufacturer rates it at 60 watts per channel into 8 ohms or 120 watts into 4 ohms. Match the amplifier to the speakers, listening level and room rather than selecting by wattage alone. Speakers and speaker cable are separate from this listing.

A practical television connection

Connect a television’s compatible ARC port to the HDMI ARC input to play its audio through the system. Optical and RCA line inputs allow other sources to join the setup. A turntable needs a built-in or separate phono preamplifier before the line input. Check the TV’s digital audio settings during setup; the manual lists stereo PCM and Dolby Digital support, but excludes DTS.

Tune the speakers in their actual room

The amplifier uses Class-D amplification with post-filter feedback and an ESS ES9038Q2M DAC. Room correction and graphic or parametric equalisation provide adjustments for the installed system. Position the speakers first, then calibrate and listen before saving settings. A powered subwoofer can be added through the dedicated output; it is not included.

App control without a front touchscreen

Use the WiiM Home app, the physical volume knob or the supported remote controls for everyday listening. Ethernet or Wi-Fi provides network access, and Bluetooth is another playback option. Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Google Cast and DLNA are supported; subscriptions and service availability vary. Amp Pro does not receive AirPlay streams. Its USB connection supports storage and compatible USB audio output, not computer USB audio input. Keep ventilation clear and verify speaker wiring before applying power.

Does Amp Pro have the Ultra touchscreen?

No. Amp Pro uses a physical volume knob and status indicators alongside app and remote control.

Can I connect a turntable directly?

Only if it provides a suitable line-level output. Otherwise add a phono preamplifier between the turntable and Amp Pro.
