SwitchBot Lock Ultra adds motorised control to a compatible existing door lock from inside the home. Keep familiar exterior hardware and a mechanical key while using the SwitchBot app for everyday access. Its aluminium-alloy housing, physical Quick Key and manual thumbturn give residents several ways to operate the door.

Designed around the existing lock

Fit is specific to the cylinder or thumbturn and the supplied regional adapters. Share photographs of the inside and outside of your door, lock dimensions and clearance around the handle with Smartify before sourcing. A stiff or misaligned bolt needs mechanical attention before automation. The lock body is intended for indoor use; it should not be mounted exposed to rain. Adhesive or screw mounting must suit the actual door surface and hardware.

Choose the access package

This listing is for Lock Ultra, with the final accessory package confirmed in your quote. Fingerprint, NFC and passcode access require a compatible keypad; those functions are not built into the indoor lock body. Remote control and Apple Home integration through Matter require a suitable SwitchBot hub. Confirm the hub and keypad models for the features you need rather than assuming every bundle includes them.

Rechargeable power with backup

The main rechargeable battery pack is backed by a CR123A battery and emergency micro-power functionality. Manufacturer battery-life figures depend on operating frequency and conditions. Use the battery notifications to plan charging and retain a tested key-entry route. Commission auto-lock settings carefully with everyone who uses the doorway.
