Sonos Sub 4 adds low-frequency weight to a compatible Sonos listening system. It supports film effects and the lower register of music while the paired speakers handle the rest of the sound. The inward-facing woofer arrangement is designed to reduce unwanted cabinet vibration, helping bass feel connected to the programme rather than drawing attention to the enclosure.

Pair with the right Sonos system

This is an additional bass component, not a standalone music speaker. It needs a compatible amplified, non-portable Sonos product and setup through the current Sonos app. It cannot be treated as a conventional RCA-input subwoofer for an arbitrary receiver.
