Arc Ultra supports Dolby Atmos with compatible content and a suitable TV connection. Its Sound Motion woofer provides bass from the soundbar’s enclosure, while speech enhancement and Night Sound offer ways to adjust listening for dialogue or quieter evenings. Room acoustics, seating and the source material affect the final result.

Check the television connection first

Connect the included HDMI cable to the television’s HDMI eARC or ARC port. The available audio formats depend on the TV, source and connection; lossless formats require eARC. Optical connection needs a separately sold adapter and has format limitations. Share the TV model and source devices so the intended audio path can be checked before installation.

Install with space for the sound

The soundbar is 1,178 mm wide, so measure the furniture, TV clearance and wall space. Avoid enclosing it where sound paths are obstructed. Confirm wall-mount hardware separately if needed. Setup requires mains power, an internet connection and the current Sonos app; Trueplay supports room tuning using compatible iOS or Android devices.

Expand deliberately

Stream music over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Apple AirPlay 2 after setup. A compatible Sonos Sub and supported rear speakers can be added separately. Confirm the complete combination before ordering. The physical microphone switch disconnects microphone power, and voice features depend on country and language availability.

Frequently asked questions

Does every TV deliver Dolby Atmos?

No. The television, content, connected source and audio settings must support the format. Sonos also excludes older CCFL-backlit televisions.

Are a subwoofer and rear speakers included?

No. This listing is for the soundbar. Additional Sonos speakers, mounting and installation are quoted separately.
