SONOFF ZBMINIL2
Designed for switch boxes without neutral
ZBMINIL2 is a single-channel no-neutral Zigbee switch module. It is intended for suitable lighting retrofits where bringing a neutral conductor to the switch position is impractical. A compatible external toggle or momentary switch can remain in use, while a Zigbee gateway adds schedules and scenes according to the functions it supports.
Match the lamp as carefully as the wiring
SONOFF specifies support for lighting loads as low as 3 W without an additional anti-flicker module. That does not remove the need to test the actual lamp and driver combination. The published maximum is 6 A for resistive loads, and the module is an on/off switch rather than a dimmer. Share lamp types and quantities before choosing it for an existing installation.
Allow for its Zigbee network role
A compatible Zigbee hub or coordinator is required. Home Assistant integration is available through suitable ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT configurations. Unlike the neutral-powered ZBMINIR2, ZBMINIL2 is a Zigbee end device and should not be counted on to extend the mesh. A qualified electrician must verify the single-phase circuit, mounting space and manufacturer-specified upstream 6 A protection. Wiring and troubleshooting must take place with the circuit isolated.

Frequently asked questions
Does no-neutral mean it works without power?
No. It still uses the mains circuit to operate. No-neutral describes its wiring requirement at the module, not battery operation.
Can it replace a dimmer?
It provides on/off switching only. Existing dimmers and the connected lamp arrangement need review before replacement; brightness control requires different hardware.
