SONOFF SNZB-02D LCD Temperature and Humidity Sensor

SONOFF SNZB-02D combines a 2.8-inch LCD with battery-powered temperature and humidity measurement. It works as a local room display and, when paired with a compatible Zigbee gateway, supplies measurements for monitoring and configured automations. The unit can stand on furniture or attach using its mounting base, avoiding the need for a power cable.

What it does

• The display presents temperature and relative humidity; the button can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• Supported gateway/app combinations provide historical records, export, alerts and voice queries. Those services depend on the controller and integration, not the screen alone.
• SONOFF publishes measurement tolerances of ±0.2°C and ±2% RH in its current online manual.
• A fold-out stand and magnetic/adhesive base allow desktop or wall placement.

Where it fits

Place the sensor where it represents the conditions you want to manage: near the occupied area rather than directly beside a heater, cold-air outlet or sunlit window. A bedroom routine might notify you when humidity stays outside your chosen band, while a connected fan or humidifier could respond through a separately configured controller. The sensor measures conditions; it does not itself regulate an appliance.

Setup and compatibility

For eWeLink, add the device through a compatible SONOFF Zigbee gateway. The manufacturer also lists selected third-party gateways, but app history, alerts and voice support vary. Hold the pairing button for five seconds to enter pairing mode, then test communication at the proposed position. A successful radio test near the hub does not establish coverage at the final location.

Important details

This is an indoor, non-condensing room sensor, not a waterproof probe or calibrated industrial instrument. Allow readings to settle after moving it. Remote notifications require the relevant gateway, account and connectivity. Keep its coin-cell battery secured and away from children. Confirm the controller integration needed for your preferred charting or automation features.
