Product Description
SmartNode Curtain Core Motor
Move your curtains from an RF remote with a motor and track system designed for everyday local control. Curtain Core suits installations where built-in app and Wi-Fi control are not required.
Track and curtain options
The system supports straight or L-shaped tracks up to 30 feet, with centre, left-side or right-side opening. The manufacturer lists Arabian and three-pleated curtain styles, with either ceiling or wall mounting. Track length, curtain weight and the opening direction need to be planned together; a long track is not a promise that every fabric and bend arrangement will work at the maximum load.
Motion and everyday operation
Electronic end limits calibrate the travel, and overload cut-off protects the motor when movement is obstructed. Manual movement remains available during a power outage. The datasheet lists a running speed of 16 cm/s, a 2.0 N·m torque rating and a safe curtain weight of 50 kg. Allow access to the motor and track for installation and maintenance.
Controls and automation
Core has no built-in Wi-Fi or app connection. Its documented controls are RF remote and compatible third-party control; app scheduling or voice operation would require an appropriately specified external control arrangement. The motor can learn up to ten remotes and supports 16-channel RF control. Remote long-press actions offer quarter, half and three-quarter travel positions; a group channel can operate multiple paired motors.
What to confirm with the quote
Specify the opening width, curtain weight, number of fabric layers, draw direction and mounting surface. Confirm whether the quoted package includes the track, bends, brackets, remote and installation. The five-wire mains connection must follow the supplied diagram, with access to phase, neutral and earth; this is not a plug-in curtain-pulling accessory.
