SmartNode Bolt Pro Smart Lock
Bolt Pro adds connected access management to a compatible door, with fingerprints, cards, PINs and a mechanical backup key. It uses a single bolt and latch for a more compact door-lock arrangement.
Access for residents and visitors
Built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connects the lock to the Smart Node app without an extra hub. The manufacturer documents app access, OTPs, timed temporary access, single-use codes, and real-time logs and notifications. These options can help arrange entry for a visitor or service appointment while keeping residents on their usual fingerprint or card. Network-dependent functions need working Wi-Fi and internet.
Practical security features
Scramble-password support allows extra digits around the enrolled PIN, and five incorrect attempts trigger an intrusion lockout. The lock includes a visitor bell, anti-theft/intrusion alerts and mechanical-key backup. These features should be considered alongside the door, frame and installation quality; they do not make any door immune to forced entry.
Battery power and backup
Four AA batteries provide the 6 V supply. The manufacturer estimates four to six months of battery life, which depends on usage and connected functions. A 5 V USB-C emergency input can temporarily power the lock when the batteries are depleted; it is not a promise of internal battery charging. Keep the backup keys accessible outside the locked room.
Door fit and included parts
The specified installation is for wood or composite doors 35–65 mm thick, with either left- or right-hand opening. The mortise and strike dimensions still need checking against the actual door. The manufacturer lists front and rear panels, mortise, strike plate, two mechanical keys, two access cards, screw kit, drilling template and user manual. Confirm battery inclusion and the installation scope with the supplied package.
