Sensibo Air adds connected control to a compatible air conditioner or heat pump that already uses an infrared remote. It is a useful starting point for a room where replacing the AC makes little sense but reaching for its handheld remote has become inconvenient. App control and supported smart-home integrations create another way to manage the room’s cooling or heating.

A controller for each room

The compact unit sends infrared commands to the appliance and includes temperature and humidity sensing. Place it where its signal can reach the AC reliably and where the measured conditions represent the room. One controller is required per AC unit. For several bedrooms or a whole-home project, identify each appliance and its remote before deciding the quantity and installation positions.

Check the integration and service requirements

Sensibo Air supports Apple HomeKit alongside Alexa and Google Assistant integration. Which operating modes, fan settings and other controls become available depends on the AC remote profile and the selected platform. It is not a universal replacement for a wired thermostat, a proprietary ducted controller or a building-management gateway. Functions that depend on online services require the relevant account, network and internet access.

Confirm current app-plan terms for the specific automations you intend to use; a product enquiry should not assume every advanced service is included indefinitely. A separate Room Sensor is an optional accessory and is not included in this standalone listing.
