Sensibo Air Pro combines control of a compatible infrared-operated AC with additional information about the room environment. It is intended for homes where an existing air conditioner should remain in service while becoming part of a connected routine. The extra sensing can help a household notice changes and decide when to investigate ventilation, cleaning products or other everyday sources.

Understand what the sensor reports

The manufacturer’s technical specification lists TVOC sensing and a carbon-dioxide-equivalent estimate calculated from TVOC. Treat that estimate as an environmental indicator, rather than a direct carbon dioxide measurement. This product is not a particulate monitor, smoke alarm or certified safety detector. Running a recirculating AC also does not establish that fresh outdoor air has been supplied to a room.

Plan a compatible installation

Air Pro sends infrared commands to the AC and measures temperature and humidity locally. Specify one device for each appliance, positioned with reliable infrared coverage and a suitable nearby power source. Supported AC functions depend on its remote-control profile. Apple HomeKit, Alexa and Google Assistant integration provide different control surfaces; confirm the controls needed in the chosen platform before purchase.
