Reolink Duo 3 PoE

Reolink Duo 3 PoE

Reolink Duo 3 PoE is a fixed dual-lens outdoor camera that combines its images into a wide 16MP panorama. It uses wired Ethernet networking and supports active PoE power. Consider it for a broad frontage where seeing the whole scene from one mounting position is more useful than a narrow close-up.

Plan a panoramic view

The 180-degree horizontal view covers a wide area, while vertical framing still needs careful positioning. Test the intended height and angle before final fixing, especially where an overhang or nearby wall could block a lens. A wide view does not guarantee facial detail at every distance, so define the area you need to recognise clearly.

Review activity with local recording

Person, vehicle and animal detection can help organise events. Motion Track creates an image summary of movement; it does not physically rotate this fixed camera. Select microSD, a compatible Reolink NVR or FTP recording to suit the system, and test retention and playback using the chosen quality settings.

Allow for lighting and recorder compatibility

Built-in spotlights support colour night video; infrared provides another night-viewing option. Configure lighting and alert zones for the property. Check the NVR hardware revision and firmware for 16MP handling before expanding an existing system. Older recorders can have preview limitations even when some recording functions work. Seal exterior cable connections correctly.
