Philips Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip Pro 65-inch

Philips Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip Pro 65-inch

A television backlight becomes part of the room when its colours blend smoothly across the wall. This newer Play Gradient Lightstrip Pro uses OmniGlow technology for a continuous-looking gradient and supports cutting to fit the intended television installation. The selected UK model is the 65-inch version; other lengths need their own sizing assessment.

Measure the television installation

Measure the actual television and check the rear surface, ventilation and wall clearance before applying any adhesive. The visible result depends on the distance to the wall and the colour of that surface. Identify the supported cutting points and keep the power connection accessible. Test the complete arrangement before final attachment, including an ordinary ambient scene and the intended video synchronisation mode. Different television sizes may require a different product code.

Compatibility and installation

The strip needs a supported sync source such as Hue Screen Sync, a Hue HDMI sync box or the compatible Hue Sync TV app to follow video. It can also provide ambient lighting when video synchronisation is off. Check the chosen sync route before ordering.
