Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro Wi-Fi combines outdoor video monitoring with an Aqara smart-home hub. Its Quad HD image, wide-aperture lens and True Color Night Vision help you see activity around an entrance, driveway or terrace. On-device AI can recognise supported visual events and sounds so you can configure relevant alerts in Aqara Home.

Plan this Wi-Fi installation

Use the dual-band 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi connection where running a network cable is inconvenient. This is a continuously powered camera, not a battery camera: a suitable USB-C 5 V, 2 A supply and protected cable route are required. Test wireless coverage at the actual mounting point before installation.

Monitoring and connected routines

Two-way audio and the integrated spotlight support conversations and visibility at the entrance. Zigbee hub and Thread border-router capabilities allow supported accessories to participate in home routines; verify the device types and integrations before choosing a bundle. Camera video integrations and Matter hub functions are separate capabilities, so do not assume every platform exposes the same camera settings.

Choose storage and placement

Encrypted onboard storage, NAS options and supported cloud services provide recording choices. Confirm storage capacity for the sourced regional unit and retention settings before ordering. Apple HomeKit Secure Video needs the appropriate Apple home infrastructure and iCloud plan; cloud services may incur separate charges. Weather-resistant housing does not remove the need for protected power connections, correct cable sealing and careful positioning.
