How the Fibaro Smart Home Calculator Works
This calculator builds a real, itemised Fibaro estimate for your home rather than a generic per-square-foot number. Tell it your home's BHK configuration and which rooms you want automated, and it prices out a Fibaro Home Center hub, room-by-room in-wall modules and sensors, and any additional Z-Wave devices you need — then emails you a PDF breakdown you can share with family or a builder.
Fibaro runs on Z-Wave, with the Home Center 3 (or 3 Lite) hub handling local automation logic through its LUA scripting engine — powerful enough for the complex scenes large luxury homes need. Since the Nice Group acquired Fibaro in 2018, the Home Center also integrates directly with Nice gate and blind controls. Even the hardware is designed to be felt rather than just functional: the Motion Sensor's rounded, nature-inspired shape is meant to disappear into a room rather than look like tech.
