Aeotec MultiSensor 6 is the grounds for a modern smart home.  This device monitors movements, tracks ambient lighting, keeps a tab on indoor temperature and humidity, listens for seismic activity, and also protects your home from UV lighting. The MultiSensor 6 can be configured with Z-Wave controller so that you can stay connected with your home if you are at work or even at a vacation.   Sensors for your smart home

Motion Sensor:

Motion for security and motion for presence. MultiSensor 6’s motion sensor captures motion data that can be used for everything, from security to saving energy. 

Temperature Sensor:

From motorised curtains and windows to fans and thermostats, there are a lot of ways that you can use Z-Wave to keep the temperature of a room perfect. The MultiSensor 6 measures temperature in the range of -10 to 50C.

Light Sensor:

With MultiSensor 6, digital light sensor measuring the level of light in a room, your home control system will be able to maintain its ambiance.

Humidity Sensor:

The Sensor offers monitoring of a humidity ranging from 0% to 100%. It keeps a check on humidity level and hence helping your smart fans and air conditioners  to adjust automatically.
Tamper protection

MultiSensor 6 alerts you on every attempt made to tamper or remove the device, and keeps you in control all the time. Hence, ensuring safety of the smart house.

The new MultiSensor 6 is now 70% smaller. It monitors activity efficiently.
Lighter in Weight

MultiSensor 6 weighs just 74gms. It is now 50% lighter than its first generation. It can be installed anywhere as it weighs less and is small in size at the same time.

 

 Secure Communication

For better and smart security, the MultiSensor 6 uses AES-128 bit data encryption to communicate with Z-Wave device in your home.
Installation

Due to its small size and light in weight features it can be installed in several places, such as:

  • Wall: It will monitor confined spaces and corridors up t 5 meters wide.
  • Shelf: It is perfectly graded at 3.5 degree, Sensor’s tapered sides make the perfect installation.
  • Corner: It can be installed up to 5 meters off the ground with a 120 degree motion.
Smart Accessories for smooth installation
  • Recessor: Install it in a ceiling with recessor. It’s magnetic clasps allows easy removal of the device.
  • Mounting arm: Designed for corner installations, it can help to rotate the Sensor up to 360 degree.
  • USB Cable: The 1.5 meter long cable provides option to power up the sensor from the main outlet.
  • Tape: As it weighs so light it can be installed using a double sided 3M tape.
