Easy Fingerprint Scan Technology With the Yale YMF40 lock, you can enter your home with one touch fingerprint verification along with an automatic cover. Easy Scan technology used in the Yale YMF40 locks can detect your fingerprint instantly, in a single touch.

Multiple access options The YMF40 lock can store up to 20 different fingerprints as well as 30 different user codes. You may also access your home with 2 mechanical keys provided with the YMF40 lock.

Prevent others from guessing your PIN code Protect others from knowing your PIN Code. The Yale YMF40 lock protects your PIN Code by enabling you to enter fake numbers before and after entering your PIN code.

Protect your home with an integrated alarm system The alarm system in the YMF40 starts ringing at 80 dB if it detects temperatures of over 55°C on the lock. The alarm also goes off if it detects an attempt at breaking the lock or forcing it open.

Low Battery Notifications and Emergency Power Backup The YMF40 system alerts you with an alarm and an LED when the system runs low on power. Emergency power may be provided to the Yale YMF40 system through a standard 9V battery, in case the batteries get completely discharged.
